More about the formulation & uses

Slickote AnoCeramic is a manufactured coating applied over metal surfaces to provide a cosmetically appealing appearance that is hard, durable, chemical resistant, corrosion resistant, and electrically insulating — with a finished ceramic texture.

The film is built on aluminum oxide and aluminum silicate ceramics in a bonded resin system. It exceeds 1000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117 and provides high voltage resistivity, which is why it serves electrical insulators and taser hardware alongside automotive, industrial, aerospace, architectural, and weapons applications.

On cast aluminum, AnoCeramic does cosmetic work too: casted parts take on the appearance of machined alloy parts.

Hard, durable ceramic film. A hard, durable coating with a finished ceramic texture over any manufactured metal part.

Corrosion resistance beyond 1000 hours. Exceeds 1000 hours salt spray per ASTM B117.
