Product information

What DL 100 does

Slickote DL 100 is a molybdenum disulfide solid film lubricant for the places wet lubricants can't go: surfaces where oil and grease are difficult to apply or retain, or where they would collect dirt and dust and turn into an abrasive paste.

Applications & coating system

Plain and spherical bearings, guides, hinges and threads where wet lubricant is difficult to retain.

The heat-cured, resin-bonded film reduces wear and corrosion and prevents galling and seizure of metals. It is supplied ready to apply and is built for sliding-motion hardware — plain and spherical bearings, flap tracks, hinges, threads, and cam surfaces.

DL 100 and PTFE 200X

DL 100 uses molybdenum disulfide as its solid lubricant. Compare with PTFE 200X when choosing between a MoS₂ film and a PTFE/MoS₂ system.

Specification requirements

Illustrations explain a working interface; they do not qualify a complete suspension, armament, gear train, or rolling bearing for service.

Confirm before application

  • Qualification for the specified process
  • Film thickness and fit allowance
  • Load and sliding speed
